Telefonix, Inc. Names Michael Kuehn as President.
WAUKEGAN, IL, January 14, 2009 – Telefonix, Inc. today announced that Michael Kuehn has joined the company as President. Kuehn will be responsible for the oversight, management and operations of Telefonix and its subsidiary, Airistar Technologies. “I am so pleased that Michael has joined the Telefonix team. This is a very exciting year for Telefonix as we celebrate our 20th Anniversary and introduce Michael as the new president of the organization. Michael brings with him a vision for the company and industry experience that I know will allow us to continue our tradition of growth, innovation and collaboration within the industry.” said Paul Burke, Founder and CEO.
Kuehn brings with him over 25 years of experience within the aviation industry specializing in Inflight Entertainment and Telecommunications. He began his career with Airfone Incorporated (later GTE and Verizon Airfone) and held various management positions serving most recently as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Verizon Airfone. Kuehn also taught at Lewis University’s College of Aviation. He holds an undergraduate degree in Aviation Management from Lewis University.
